A former academy graduate at Barnsley, Cowgill made his EFL debut in 2014 for them against Walsall. He then had loan spells at Braintree and Fylde before signing for Boston United. Cowgill had a spell out of the game before signing for Nostell Miners Welfare last season where he re-discovered his love for the game. A very talented defender with a big future ahead.
