Zeph Thomas - New Player Coach

17/07/2023

We are delighted to announce the signing of attacker Zeph Thomas who joins the club as a player-coach.

Most recently with Rossington Main & Brighouse Town, the Bradford born former Rotherham United youth prospect has scored goals at both this level and the level above, for the likes of Belper Town, Sheffield FC, Mickleover Sports and Glossop North End.

The 33 year old has also played in Scotland for Cowdenbeath, in Belgium for Montegnée, in the US for Garden City Broncbusters and in Canada for Thunder Bay Chill, but most notably has made 20 international appearances, for Saint Kitts & Nevis - scoring twice, against Dominica and then Guyana in the Caribbean Cup.

Manager Grant Black is really excited to be working with Zeph, stating that “he’s a fantastic coach who’s going to add a lot in regards to coaching styles, he’s really good in and around the dressing room, he’s positive, he’s bubbly, he knows all the lads and they like him and respect him.  He will add a lot both on and off the pitch”.

Welcome to Ossett United Zeph.
