As you may have seen yesterday, the NPL are working with other step 3&4 leagues to bring the 2019/20 season to a close.

However this looks, be it null and void or the league table decided by PPG, Ossett United will respect this decision because ultimately the result is irrelevant.

Getting to the end of this pandemic as quickly and safely with football clubs in a position to play again in the future is all that matters in a football sense.

Yes, clubs and supporters will feel hard done by if they either miss out on promotion or don’t have the opportunity to avoid the drop but taking a step back from the football bubble for a moment as long as you have a team to support going forward is the priority.

The current situation is unprecedented in our life times, and like every other club we still have many running costs to honour.

Our Go Fund Me page is still live, if you’re in a position to do so please do consider a donation at this time.https://www.gofundme.com/f/SaveOurGround

Also, we would like to ask our supporters to consider putting their names forward to volunteer to be an NHS Responder to support our most precious national resource.https://www.goodsamapp.org/NHS

At Ossett United we’re Stronger Together, but for now, stay home.

#StrongerTwoMetersApart

Thank you
